Faculty Position in the School of Government & International Affairs
Kennesaw State University is now accepting applications for a pool of open rank, part-time and limited term faculty positions in the School of Government & International Affairs for the academic year . These positions are on an as needed, semester-by-semester basis. Rank is determined at the time of hiring and will be commensurate with credentials. These positions are for work to be performed in the state of Georgia.
Teaching introductory political science classes, such as POLS 1101 "Introduction to American Government" or POLS 2401 "Global Issues" Teaching upper-level or graduate political science or public administration courses as needed Teaching assignments will be based on earned degrees and SACSCOC Faculty Credentials Guidelines.
To teach undergraduate courses: A minimum of a Master's degree, or the foreign equivalent, in Political Science or a closely related discipline is required at the time of hire. OR A minimum of a Master's degree, or the foreign equivalent, in a non-related discipline with 18 graduate credit hours in the teaching discipline is required at the time of hire. To teach graduate courses: A Terminal/Doctorate degree, or the foreign equivalent, in Political Science or Public Administration or a related discipline is required at the time of hire.
An earned doctoral degree, or the foreign equivalent, in Political Science or a closely related field Experience teaching online or hybrid courses
