This position is supporting the Dunkin' location within the Student Center, however, this position may be expected to support other retail outlets within the location.
Job SummaryOversees assigned staff, student assistants and operations within the assigned retail and/or residential dining operations ona specific campus and/or location, which may include oversight ofboth front and back of the house operations. Assists managers with scheduling, team development, and meeting budgetary goals.
Responsibilities- 1. Provides a dining experience that meets the lifestyle needsof students
- 2. Ensures the program provides exceptional food variety, quality,cleanliness and freshness
- 3. Assists and coordinates with maintenance and facilities toensure the dining program has equipment that is well-maintained and functional at all times
- 4. Responsible for leading, supervising, training and development of assigned staff and/or student assistants
- 5. Assists leaders in managing expenses, generating revenue and the overall financial success of the assigned program and/or location
- 6. Assists management in implementing new culinary programs and promotions in conjunction with the marketing and culinary team
- Educational Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Other Required Qualifications
- Manager Serv Safe certified or obtains certification within twelve(12) months of hire
- Required Experience
- One (1) year of supervisory experience in a food service establishment
- Additional Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of MS Office Suite
- Preferred Educational Qualifications
- An undergraduate or advanced degree from an accredited institution of higher education in a related field
- Degree or certification from a culinary arts or hospitality program
- Preferred Experience
- Experience in a Higher Education food service establishment
- Leadership and/or training experience in a food service establishment

- Able to effectively communicate with a variety of levels of internal and external customers
- Able to handle multiple tasks or projects at one time meeting assigned deadlines
- KNOWLEDGE
- Knowledge of and Proficient in HAACP Standards
- SKILLS
- Excellent interpersonal, initiative, teamwork, problem solving,independent judgment, organization, communication (verbal and written), time management, project management and presentation skills
- Proficient with computer applications and programs associated withthe position (i.e., Microsoft Office suite, Point of Sales systems)
- Strong attention to detail and follow up skills
- Strong customer service skills and phone and e-mail etiquette
