Location:
3600 Cobb International Blvd NW, Kennesaw, GA 30152
Travel: 50% - 75% to Central TX
Travel may reduce after 1 year to 1.5 years
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:- 50-75% travel to Central Texas.
- Designing and specifying process equipment and overseeing its commissioning.
- Designing and implementing in-process tooling.
- Implementing process set-up instructions and process validation tests.
REQUIRED:
- Strong technical writing skills (documentation).
- Able to effectively collaborate in cross-functional team environments.
- Proficient problem solver that uses engineering principles, structured techniques, and creative critical thinking to generate practical solutions and contingencies.
- B.S. Chemical Engineer, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering from an ABET accredited university or equivalent.
- 3+ years of extrusion or injection molding experience
- Solid understanding of the relationship between material processing and material properties.
- Strong applied statistical skills particularly in process capabilities and experimental design.
- Knowledge of cable processes and design are desired
