Instrumentation and Controls Engineering Manager

Overview

Our ENERCON Energy Group is looking to hire an I&C Engineering Manager. In this role, your leadership will not only drive project success, but it will also help us achieve overall business goals. This position can be located in one of the following locations:

• Kennesaw, GA (Suburb of Atlanta)
• Tampa, FL
• Naperville, IL (Suburb of Chicago)
• Overland Park, KS
• Fort Worth, TX
• Other office locations may be considered for candidates with significant experience

• Leadership & Motivation: Lead teams with a positive attitude to achieve project goals aligned with ENERCON's excellence standards
• Collaboration & Coordination: Interface with clients to ensure quality and deadlines on exciting design projects
• Communication: Lead various internal engineering disciplines and delegate project roles
• Design & Estimating: Prepare design studies, scopes, and engineering estimates
• Procurement & Specifications: Develop equipment procurement specs, evaluate bids, and select equipment
• Technical Expertise: Perform electrical calculations and solve complex technical problems
• Field Engagement: Travel for walkdowns, field installations, and start-up

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering - Electrical, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering preferred
• Active Professional Engineer (PE) license - strongly preferred
• 6+ years of I&C engineering experience, including 2+ years in a leadership role (project or people)
• Power generation project experience - highly preferred
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
