  • Lead a range of environmental and engineering projects, from conceptual site model development to remediation and risk management strategy implementation.
  • Plan, execute, and oversee environmental site investigations and assessments.
  • Handle project management duties: proposal development, budgeting, schedule monitoring, and coordination of equipment and materials.
  • Guide data collection for soil, soil gas, groundwater, boring logs, and other matrices.
  • Prepare complex data visualizations such as soil analyses, groundwater modeling, and geologic cross‑sections.
  • Analyze, evaluate, and interpret geologic, hydrogeologic, and chemical data, contributing to the development of corrective action plans.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Geology or a closely related discipline (Master’s or higher preferred).
  • Professional licensure or certification in Georgia (P.G.) or the ability to obtain one.
  • At least 10 years of environmental project experience, including task management, proposal writing, client interaction, and regulatory engagement.
  • In‑depth knowledge of CERCLA, RCRA, and related environmental regulations and compliance practices.
  • Experience with site investigations and remediation of soil, surface water, and groundwater.
  • Hands‑on experience sampling soil and groundwater via drilling methods such as direct‑push and hollow‑stem auger.
  • Experience with Unified Soil Classification System (USCS) logging.
  • Experience installing monitoring wells, remediation wells, and soil gas wells.
  • Subcontractor management skills: soliciting bids, purchase requisitions, and work scheduling.
  • Ability to work independently and lead junior team members with strict QA/QC adherence.
  • Strong verbal and written communication, including technical report and proposal writing.
  • Critical thinking and problem‑solving skills to evaluate test results and identify cost‑effective contamination responses.
  • Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety and compliance with WSP safety and anti‑harassment policies.
  • Certified 40‑hour OSHA HAZWOPER Health and Safety Training; annual refresher required (29 CFR ).
