Overview
Our Nuclear Services Group is seeking a Senior Environmental Licensing Air Specialist to join the team. In this role, you will bring your expertise to assist in interactions with regulatory agencies and stakeholders, help gather data during site visits, and stay updated on environmental regulations. You will have the opportunity to perform and lead environmental analyses in support of nuclear environmental licensing projects nationwide.

Some positions may be performed remotely in one or more U.S. states.
Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive environmental impact assessments for proposed nuclear facilities, preparing reports in accordance with NRC regulations, NEPA, and other applicable guidelines.
- Participate in site visits to gather environmental data and assess potential impacts, supporting the development of technical content for environmental reports.
- Interact with regulatory agencies, stakeholders, and the public to address environmental concerns, preparing presentations and reports to communicate complex information.
- Develop and implement air quality protection measures, including compliance with MACT, NSPS, NESHAP, and air permitting requirements (NNSR/NSR, PSD, PBRs), and perform emissions evaluations and greenhouse gas reporting.
- Serve as mentor and trainer for junior staff on project management and technical compliance work.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Minimum six years of experience in environmental consulting, nuclear power, or a related field.
- Working knowledge of environmental regulations, including NEC, Clean Air Act, etc.
- Experience working with federal or state regulatory agencies.
- Experience developing technical reports and supporting regulatory reviews.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency using MS Excel.
- Ability to travel/work in the field approximately 5% of the time, with typical travel durations of 3–4 days.
USD $86,400.00 – USD $ per year.
