Breakfast Attendant Job Description

A Breakfast Attendant prepares, maintains, and cleansthe hotel breakfast buffet area, ensuring a positive guest experience. Keyduties include setting up food/drink, restocking, cleaning tables, complying with food safety standards, and providing friendly service. This early morning role requires lifting to 50 lbs., customer service skills, and reliability.

Core Responsibilities

• Buffet Preparation: Set up, maintain, and replenish breakfast items(e.g., waffles, eggs, pastries, coffee, juices) according to hotel brand standards.
• Guest Service: Greet guests, assist with requests, and maintain apleasant atmosphere.
• Sanitation& Cleanliness: Clear and sanitize tables, wipe spills, mopfloors, remove trash, and clean serving equipment.
• Inventory Management: Monitor food supplies, take inventory, and restock asneeded.
• Safety Compliance: Ensure food is held at proper temperatures and followfood safety/hygiene guidelines.

Key Requirements & Skills

• Experience: Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods and lift, carry,or push up to 50 pounds.
• Schedule Flexibility: Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
• Skills: Strong communication, time management, and attention to detail.
