Provides advanced technical expertise in designing, developing, and managing enterprise automation solutions. Leads initiatives that streamline workflows, integrate systems, and optimize data processes using workflow and process automation tools and cloud integration services. Combines technical leadership with hands‑on development to deliver secure, scalable, and maintainable automation and system integration capabilities aligned with institutional modernization goals.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the design and implementation of enterprise automation solutions across workflows, integrations, and data platforms.
- Develop and deploy automation using tools such as Microsoft Power Automate, UiPath, Decisions, Blue Prism, or similar platforms.
- Design and implement system integrations and data pipelines through APIs or middleware (Mule Soft, Boomi, or similar iPaaS).
- Collaborate with data teams to connect automation workflows to analytics environments (Azure Data Factory, Microsoft Fabric, Oracle, SQL Server, on‑prem resources).
- Provide technical leadership, architecture guidance, and mentorship for automation engineers.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into secure, scalable automation solutions.
- Maintain platform performance, security, and compliance standards.
- Troubleshoot complex automation and integration issues and coordinate resolutions.
- Document architecture, workflows, and standard operating procedures.
- Evaluate emerging technologies in automation, AI, and integration for adoption strategies.
- Participate in project planning, resource estimation, and technical delivery.
Educational Requirements: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution of higher education.
Required Experience: Seven (7) years of relevant IT experience.
Preferred Qualifications- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and Power Platform tools.
- Advanced degree from an accredited institution in a related field.
- Experience in higher education IT environments.
- Experience with enterprise automation, workflow orchestration, and system integration concepts, including low‑code/no‑code development and RPA principles.
- Hands‑on experience with automation tools such as Microsoft Power Automate, UiPath, Decisions, Blue Prism.
- Proficiency in scripting and programming languages (Python, Power Shell, SQL, Java) for connectors and custom automation.
- Familiarity with AI/ML concepts applied to intelligent automation and process optimization.
- Strong understanding of Microsoft 365, Power Platform, and cloud data services (Azure Data Factory, Microsoft Fabric).
- Excellent interpersonal, initiative, teamwork, problem‑solving, independent judgment, organization, time management, project management, and presentation skills.
- Proficient with computer applications and programs associated with the position (Microsoft Office suite).
- Skilled in architecting and maintaining complex automation solutions across workflow, RPA, and integration layers.
- Strong attention to detail, documentation practices, and commitment to continuous learning.
- Strong customer service skills and professional phone and e‑mail etiquette.
