QA Automation​/Test Engineer

As a QA Automation Engineer for a leading investment manager, you will be supporting multiple projects by collaborating with others to understand business requirements, developing test plans, creating and implementing manual and automated tests and ensuring that our products are high-quality and functioning properly.

• Extensive SDET/QA Testing experience including full-stack testing, manual testing (functional, usability, UAT), database testing (Sybase) and automated testing (integration, regression)
• Experience in at least two modern high-level programming languages (Java and JavaScript (React
  
  JS specifically)
• Accustomed to using automated testing tools and techniques (Appium, Selenium, Cucumber, API Testing, Maven, CI/CD)
• Experience in code coverage techniques (Ja Co Co , Cobertura, Parasoft JTest)
• Experience in scripting (UNIX, JUnit)
• Experience and expertise within Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Experience in test planning, designing, data mapping, defect creation and QA metricizing (KPI measurement, reports creation)
• Effective prioritization skills with the ability to provide QA support for multiple projects
• Innovative and curious to come up with interesting test scenarios and apply appropriate methods to any given test scenario (gap/comparative analysis)
• Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) to provide candid feedback and explain complex issues in a way that is easy to understand
• A focus on continuous improvement and willing to collaborate across functions, with different subject matter experts
• Proven track record of meeting deadlines and remaining focused on details in an environment where priorities can frequently shift
• Prior experience working in the Capital Markets domain with a concentration in asset management and investment banking
• Fast learner who can come up to speed very quickly and can thrive with minimal guidance and supervision (someone who is highly proactive, seeks knowledge and has passion for QA and technology)
• Basic knowledge of Visual Studio/C++
