Position: Helpdesk Support W/Deskside Help

Overview

This position is part of the Helpdesk/Desktop Support for all internal users in a global manufacturing company. The role provides troubleshooting and IT support for over 2,500 users, fielding calls & walk‑ins, troubleshooting desktops, PCs, mobile devices, documenting issues, and coordinating with Domain Services, Storage/Server, and Network Services teams.

Responsibilities
  • Manage support for Windows 7 Pro, 8.1, and Mac OS X Mavericks/Yosemite laptops, monitors, and computers.
  • Support local and network HP printers, copiers, and scanners.
  • Configure mobile devices: iPads, iPhones, Surfaces, and Android devices.
  • Use Adobe Connect to set up meetings between offices and clients.
  • Create and configure laptops/desktops using SCCM/Symantec Ghost.
  • Document incidents in the queue, provide notifications and updates to end users.
  • Coordinate with other teams (Domain Services, Storage/Server, Network Services) for unresolved issues.
Qualifications

Entry Level – no prior experience required, but ability to communicate clearly and work with a tenured team is essential.

Strong customer service orientation and effective communication skills.

Job Type & Location

Contract position based out of Kennesaw, GA. Fully onsite.

Pay

Hourly pay range: $20.00 – $22.00 per hour.
