Job Description: Warehouse Operator – Kennesaw, GA. The Warehouse Operator is responsible for performing tasks assigned by the Warehouse Manager including checking inbound receipts, preparing outbound shipments and maintaining inventory counts.
Shift
Hours:
7am-3:30pm during training period (2-3 months) and then transition to a 3rd shift 12pm-7:30am.

- Must be an experienced forklift operator with a valid forklift license
- Operate a forklift in a safe and efficient manner
- Follow all Warehouse SOPs including Material Receipt, Processing Sales Orders, Personal Hygiene, etc.
- Execute warehouse transactions (bin movements) using handheld scanner
- Maintain a clean and neat warehouse area
- Adhere to company rules and safe work practices within the department
- Minimum — High School Diploma
- Preferred — n/a
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment (GMP experience preferred)
- Communication Skills — Must be able to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondance and memos. Must be able to write simple correspondance. Must be able to effectively present information to other employees.
- Mathematical Skills — Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, fractions and decimals
- Reasoning Ability — Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions. Ability to handle problems involving a few variables in standardized situations.
- Physical Demands — Must be able to stand, walk, use hands and fingers, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Regularly lift and move up to 75 pounds unassisted. Specific vision abilities as required.
- Mechanical aptitude — Ability to learn to operate, maintain and adjust assigned equipment.
- Dependability — Punctuality for assigned shift. Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Forklift Training — Ability to learn how to operate a forklift safely and efficiently.
