Blending - Production Technician

Blending – Production Technician – Kennesaw, GA

Pay rate: $17/hr – Monday to Friday, 6:30am-3:30pm.

• Climb onto a 12‑foot mezzanine to open and pour specified amounts of powder and liquid materials into blender equipment.
• Start machines and mix chemical raw materials for precise, specified times.
• Complete setup, change‑over, washing, and cleaning activities on the blending equipment.
• Unload final chemical mixtures into containers for further processing.

• Perform critical Lockout/Tagout procedures to ensure a completely safe work environment.
• Dislodge and clear jammed materials from machinery safely.
• Identify machine malfunctions or out‑of‑spec materials and report them to supervision.
• Collect material and product samples for laboratory testing.
• Wear all required safety PPE, including hard hat, eye protection, respiratory protection, gloves, and ear protection.

• Read and execute precise duties according to work instructions on a batch ticket.
• Record operational data on batch tickets and log maintenance issues in the CMMS work order system.
• Review the Production Board to understand scheduling and daily blend assignments.
• Move materials and products between work areas using a forklift or a pallet jack.
• Maintain a pristine work area and equipment using 5S organizational cleanliness standards.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to stand, bend, and kneel for extended periods of time, and work comfortably on a 12‑foot‑high mezzanine.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable working in a warehouse environment following strict safety protocols and wearing full PPE.
• Previous machine operation experience is preferred but not required.
