Food Production WorkerSummary:
Dessert Holdings is looking for Production Workers to join our team in a fast‑paced food manufacturing environment. In this role, team members support the production, assembly, packaging, handling, and movement of dessert products while following all food safety, quality, and workplace safety standards. Production Workers play an important role in helping us meet daily production goals while maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Produce, assemble, handle, and package dessert products according to production schedules, work instructions, and quality standards.
- Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), food safety requirements, sanitation procedures, and company policies.
- Operate production equipment, machinery, and tools safely assigned.
- Inspect products and materials to ensure quality, consistency, and compliance with standards.
- Load, unload, and move racks, containers, ingredients, packaging materials, and finished products throughout the facility.
- Transfer products to and from production areas, coolers, freezers, and storage locations as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times.
- Perform regular cleaning and sanitation tasks, including sweeping, mopping, wiping down equipment, and removing trash.
- Report waste, quality concerns, equipment issues, safety concerns, and time away from the production line to leadership.
- Meet daily production goals while maintaining food safety, quality, and efficiency standards.
- Follow required dress code, PPE, hygiene, and allergen‑control practices.
- Support different production areas and assist with other duties as assigned.
- No previous experience required; training will be provided.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality, safety, and cleanliness.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Willingness to work flexible schedules, including overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Ability to work safely and efficiently in a loud production environment.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks, including bending, reaching, lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work in cold environments, including coolers and freezers.
- Ability to work safely around food allergens, including chocolate, wheat, dairy, eggs, and tree nuts.
- Must be able to comply with all company safety, food safety, quality, and attendance expectations.
- Must successfully pass any required pre‑employment screenings consistent with company policy.
