Plasma Center Nurse - RN

Job Description

$1,500 Sign-On Bonus

As a Medical Support Specialist (Plasma Center Nurse) you will work under the guidance of the Center Manager, Assistant Manager, and Center Physician to support plasma center operations. Your responsibilities include determining donor eligibility, managing donor adverse events, reviewing laboratory test results, and notifying donors of unsuitable results.

• Determine donor eligibility, including informed consent and medical history interview.
• Perform physical examinations, blood testing, and review Serological Protein Electrophoresis (SPE).
• Evaluate donor reactions and follow SOPs for medical emergencies, including developing Center Physician standing orders.
• Refer to the Center Physician or Medical Affairs for medical or technical issues.
• Support hepatitis B and seasonal flu vaccination programs for employees.
• Manage employee incidents and determine evaluation requirements, referring to EHS guidance.
• Act as Pandemic Coordinator when authorized by EHS to investigate pandemic threats.

• High school diploma or equivalent, or graduate-level recognized nursing program.
• Licensed in the state of assignment as Registered Nurse (RN), Nurse Practitioner (NP), or Physician Assistant (PA).
• Current CPR and AED certification.
• Fulfill state requirements for basic IV therapy.
• Complete FDA approved training for Bio Life Medical Support Specialist.
• Two years clinical or hospital experience.

• Sign‑on bonus of $1,500.
• Hourly wage range $33.44 – $45.98.
