Responsibilities
We are seeking a certified nurse midwife to provide prenatal education and support, attend childbirth, provide encouragement during labor and delivery, and supervise the general care of women and children directly after birth. The midwife will also provide care to women during normal pregnancies and deliveries and call on obstetricians or other physicians if complications develop.
Qualifications- BSN and successful completion of a nurse midwifery program accredited by the American College of Nurse Midwives (ACNM)
- Board certification by American Midwifery Certification Board
- BLS certification
- Minimum 3 years' experience as an RN; one year as a midwife
- Current RN state license
