Position Overview

Seeking an LPN or RN to work at our residential adolescent and young adult program in Kennesaw, GA.

Schedules available: FT Evenings, PT Evening Shifts.

Starting Pay is $28/hr for LPN and $35/hr for RN, with additional compensation based on experience.

Shift Differential: $3/hr on Nights/Weekends.

As an RN/LPN, you will provide direct care nursing and will also be responsible for administering medications, providing medical treatments, completing admissions, and actively engaging with the youth served and their families/guardians.

Devereux Georgia provides intensive residential treatment in a secure setting for youth, ages 10 to 21, who are facing significant emotional, behavioral and intellectual/developmental challenges. Our campus offers a swimming pool, volleyball court, tennis court, playing field, lake and playground.

Devereux offers ASCEND, a career accelerator program that provides tuition coverage and financial assistance.

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

  • Completion of an accredited LPN or RN program and current Georgia Nursing License required.
  • Six months to one year of nursing experience is highly preferred.
  • Experience in psychiatric nursing with children or adolescents is a plus.

Other

Qualifications:

  • Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.
  • Valid Driver’s License, satisfactory drug screen and background check results.
  • Weekend availability and holidays required.
  • Must be able to complete a two‑week, paid new hire orientation class (approximately 8:30am to 5:30pm daily).
