Job Overview

Position:
Medical Support Specialist (Plasma Center Nurse) at Bio Life Plasma Services, a subsidiary of Takeda Pharmaceutical Company Ltd.

• Determine donor eligibility, manage informed consent, and conduct medical history interviews.
• Perform physical examinations, blood tests, and review serological protein electrophoresis (SPE) results.
• Assess donor reactions and follow SOPs for medical emergencies.
• Develop Center Physician standing orders and coordinate donor transport to emergency care.
• Report suitable or unsuitable donor test results to donors.
• Support Hepatitis B and Seasonal Flu vaccination programs for employees.
• Manage employee incidents and coordinate further evaluation with occupational health/ER.
• Act as Pandemic Coordinator when authorized by EHS, supporting investigations of pandemic threats.
• Provide on‑site environmental, health and safety (EHS) support under guidance of Bio Life Medical Affairs.
• Report to the Plasma Center Manager (or Assistant Manager).

• High school diploma or recognized nursing program with state license as LPN or LVN.
• Current CPR and AED certification.
• State‑based certification for basic IV therapy.
• Completion of FDA‑approved training for Bio Life Medical Support Specialist.
• At least two years of experience in a clinical or hospital setting.

• Hourly wage range: $24.32 – $33.44 (Kennesaw, GA, USA).
