Quality Supervisor

Overview

The Materials Services area covers global materials distribution and tailored services in materials management and supply chain management, offering cross-channel access to more than 150,000 products and services for about 250,000 customers worldwide. The Copper and Brass Division serves markets across North America (Canada and Mexico), focusing on aerospace, automotive, electrical, medical, and oil & gas industries, and has a long-standing history of premium service to customers.

• Meet all Quality Control objectives, projects, and deadlines within budget.
• Coordinate, assign, and review work of quality control employees.
• Teach, coach and demonstrate work activities for team members.
• Develop and implement quality control policies and procedures to ensure the highest level of product and process quality.
• Coordinate internal and external audits of quality-related policies and processes.
• Educate employees in the quality management system.
• Prepare and present reports, as assigned.
• Hire qualified personnel and ensure they receive all necessary training.
• Conduct performance reviews and disciplinary actions of employees.
• Participate, support, and comply with all health, safety, quality, and Lean initiatives and requirements.
• Work directly on the warehouse floor around heavy machinery.
• Meet TKMNA Employee Attributes/Competencies.

Minimum Requirements:

• College degree or certificate in a technical area or related field
• 3-5 years experience in an industrial, maintenance environment
• Demonstrated leadership and team building skills
• Good interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of quality management systems applicable to the business
• Safety Mindset

Preferred Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Previous related supervisory experience preferred.
