Job Summary:
As a Quality Technician, you will support the implementation and maintenance of the Quality Management System while ensuring products and processes meet company and customer standards. This role plays a key part in managing returns, supporting audits, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Job Responsibilities:
- Investigate, document, and process customer returns
- Investigate, document, and process vendor returns (Return Purchase Orders)
- Conduct root cause analysis and recommend corrective and preventive actions
- Assist in implementing and maintaining the Quality Management System (QMS)
- Perform internal audits and support customer/external audits
- Maintain and calibrate measuring and test equipment
- Participate in branch quality system reviews
- Support continuous improvement initiatives as Branch Lean Focal
- Assist Regional Lean Focal with workshop preparation (AIWs)
- Ensure audits are completed and results are posted in a timely manner
- Maintain visual boards, audit records, and quality documentation
- Support Shared Vision Boards at corporate and local levels
- Provide internal and external technical support
- Ensure short, effective team meetings (≤10 minutes)
- Identify process improvement opportunities
- Follow all safety procedures while working around warehouse machinery
- Perform additional duties as assigned
- High school diploma or GED required
- Experience or training in ISO 9001:2008 or AS9100/9120
- Experience with quality systems and Lean methodologies
- ASQ certification preferred
- 3+ years of Quality Assurance/Control experience preferred
- Knowledge of safety/OSHA standards and manufacturing environments (metals experience a plus)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Basic computer proficiency
