Quality Systems Coordinator

Job Summary Assist in the implementation and maintenance of the company’s Quality Management System (QMS). Manage customer and vendor return processes, while serving as a key point of contact for customer quality-related inquiries and issues. Promote a culture of quality, support customer satisfaction, and drive continuous improvement of branch products, processes, and services.

Job Description Key Accountabilities Assist in the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS).Perform internal quality audits and support external audits (customer, registrar, and compliance audits).Serve as a primary point of contact for customer quality concerns, complaints, and returns.

Investigate customer and vendor returns, including root cause analysis and resolution communication.

Communicate findings and corrective actions clearly to customers and stakeholders.

Lead or support root cause investigations and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).Support Lean initiatives and continuous improvement activities.

Document and track quality issues, audit results, and corrective actions.

Maintain visual management boards and quality documentation.

Work safely on warehouse floor around machinery and follow all safety protocols.

This is a position that works directly on the warehouse floor around heavy machinery.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements High school diploma or GED (post-secondary education preferred)2+ years of experience in quality systems or manufacturing

Experience with ISO 9001 and/or AS9100/AS9120

Experience with root cause analysis and corrective actions

Experience handling customer quality issues or complaints

Strong communication and organizational skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Strong safety mindset

Preferred Qualifications Internal Auditor certificationASQ CQE or Six Sigma Green Belt Customer-facing quality experience

Manufacturing or distribution industry experience
