Location
(Primary Location for Job Responsibilities) Our Kennesaw campus is located at 1000 Chastain Road NW, Kennesaw, GA 30144. Our Marietta campus is located at 1100 South Marietta Parkway, Marietta, GA 30060.
Job Summary
Performs research activities and other tasks as necessary in a laboratory environment. Records observations and measurements and reports results. Provides technical support for research activities. May provide oversight to undergraduate students engaged in research.
This position is considered limited-term staff since it utilizes contingent funding which is currently only secured through July 2026. Employment thereafter will be conditional based on continued availability of funding.

Bachelor s degree from an accredited institution of higher education in the area of study
Required Experience
Some experience conducting research

An advanced degree from an accredited institution of higher education in a related field
Preferred Experience
Experience in writing and preparing scientific manuscripts
Proposed Salary

Knowledge of scientific principles, laboratory safety practices, laboratory terminology, equipment, materials, and procedures and laboratory methods relating to field of study

Excellent interpersonal, initiative, teamwork, problem solving, independent judgment, organization, communication (verbal and written), time management, project management and presentation skills
Proficient with computer applications and programs associated with the position (e.g., Microsoft Office, Graph Pad Prism, Adobe and/or Corel Graphics, other field related programs)
Strong attention to detail and follow up skills
Strong customer service skills and phone and e-mail etiquette
