As a Business Development Manager at Openwork, you’ll spend your days meeting people in your territory, building relationships with local businesses, and learning how to sell professional staffing solutions from a seasoned leadership team. If you’re competitive, curious, and love talking to new people, this could be the perfect next step.
What You’ll DoAs a Business Development Manager, you’ll help power our growth by:
- Prospecting and meeting with new businesses in your assigned territory
- Learning how to build and manage a territory plan: target accounts, outreach strategy, and weekly priorities
- Running discovery conversations and supporting proposals & pricing discussions
- Partnering closely with recruiters to help new clients get set up and supported
- Logging activity, pipeline, and updates in Hub Spot with accuracy
- Joining team huddles and participating in ongoing sales coaching
- Supporting seamless onboarding by capturing key details for internal teams
- Early in your career and eager to break into B2B sales
- Energized by being out in the field and meeting people face-to-face
- Confident, conversational, and not afraid to introduce yourself
- Coachable, curious, and hungry to get better
- A self-starter who doesn’t wait to be told what to do
- Goal-oriented, competitive, and excited by the idea of uncapped commission
Sales or customer-facing experience is a plus, but not required. We’ll teach you everything you need to know.
