SALES OPERATIONS MANAGER JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a Sales Operations Manager to be the operational backbone of our revenue organization. This role owns the systems, processes, data, and insights that enable our sales team to sell efficiently and will partner closely with Sales Leadership, Marketing, and Finance to ensure Salesforce is optimized, reporting is trusted, and execution is tight. Reporting into the EVP of Production, this is a hands‑on role for someone who loves turning complexity into clarity and data into action.
RESPONSIBILITIESSalesforce Administration & Optimization
- Own day‑to‑day administration of (users, roles, permissions, workflows, validation rules).
- Design and maintain scalable sales processes across the full funnel (lead → opportunity → close → renewal).
- Implement and optimize Salesforce automations, flows, and integrations with adjacent tools (e.g., outreach, CPQ, billing, marketing automation).
- Ensure data hygiene, governance, and system reliability.
- Define, document, and continuously improve sales workflows and operating rhythms.
- Partner with Sales Leadership to support territory design, account assignments, and routing logic.
- Support onboarding and ongoing enablement through Salesforce training, documentation, and best practices.
- Act as the “air traffic control” for the sales team—removing friction and increasing selling time.
- Build and maintain dashboards and reports in Salesforce to track pipeline health, conversion rates, win/loss trends, and rep performance.
- Support weekly, monthly, and quarterly forecasting processes.
- Deliver actionable insights to sales leadership and executive stakeholders.
- Ensure reporting consistency across Sales, Marketing, and Finance.
- Partner with Finance and Sales Leadership on quota setting, compensation plans, and commission tracking.
- Support annual and quarterly planning (headcount models, capacity planning, pipeline coverage).
- Collaborate with Marketing Ops on lead management, attribution, and funnel performance.
- Identify opportunities for operational efficiency and automation across the revenue stack.
- 4–7+ years of experience in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, or a similar role.
- Deep hands‑on experience with (admin‑level experience strongly preferred).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into clear recommendations.
- Proven experience supporting a quota‑carrying sales team.
- High attention to detail and strong process orientation.
- Excellent communication skills and comfort working with senior leaders.
- Preferred:
- Salesforce Administrator certification.
- Experience in SaaS, fintech, or high‑growth B2B environments.
- Experience with sales engagement tools (Outreach, Salesloft), BI tools.
- Experience building forecasting models and compensation plans.
- Tableau, Excel modeling, or light technical skills are a plus.
