Job Overview
Openwork is assisting a machine manufacturer in Kennesaw in search of a Sales Assistant. This position is responsible for supporting customers and assisting with sales administration activities. Working as part of an established team and following an initial training period, the successful candidate will handle customer inquiries and sales‑related requests, ensuring accurate, timely, and professional service. The role involves reviewing customer requirements, coordinating with internal departments to verify product availability, lead times, and delivery schedules, and helping ensure that agreed‑upon quality, payment, and delivery standards are met.
The Sales Assistant will play an important role in maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction through effective communication and follow‑up.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Prior experience in customer service, sales support, administrative support, or accounting support is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of a foreign language is a plus, particularly Italian or Spanish.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.

Hours:
8 AM-5 PM Monday‑Friday. Pay Rate: $18‑22 per hour BOE.
