Security Officer Access Control Specialist

Allied Universal -  - Responsibilities:
Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, vendors, and/or employees by carrying out site-specific procedures, access screening, credential checks, and when appropriate, emergency response activities;
Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and/or shipping documentation, and help to control authorized access to the location in accordance with posted policies;
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document observed activity through required reports and logs;
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, dock areas, yard, and perimeter, noting unusual conditions and reporting security-related concerns to the appropriate contact;
Support daily operations at a busy logistics and distribution location by communicating with site personnel, directing foot and vehicle traffic as needed, and helping to deter unauthorized activity
