Electrical Journeyman / Foreman

Location: Greater Atlanta Metropolitan Area (Travel to Job Sites Required)

Compensation: $40+ per hour

BE ABLE TO PERFORM THE FOLLOWING TASKS:

• Measuring, cutting, bending, threading, assembling, and installing electrical conduit, using tools, for example hacksaw, pipe threader, and conduit bender Pulls wiring through conduit, assisted by ELECTRICIAN HELPER
• Splices wires by stripping insulation from terminal leads, using knife or pliers, twisting or soldering wires together, and applying tape or terminal caps.
• Connects wiring to lighting fixtures and power equipment, using hand tools. Installs control and distribution apparatus, for example switches, relays, and circuit‑breaker panels, fastening in place with screws or bolts, using hand tools and power tools.
• Connects power cables to equipment, for example electric range or motor, and installs grounding leads.
• Tests continuity of circuit to ensure electrical compatibility and safety of components, using testing equipment for task at hand.
• Observes functioning of installed equipment or system to detect hazards and need for adjustments, relocation, or replacement.

BE ABLE TO HANDLE AND USE THE FOLLOWING TOOLS/EQUIPMENT:

• Power tools/ladders/rental equipment: pliers, Fish Tape, power drills, reciprocating saws, screw guns, wire cutters, hammers, channel locks, wrenches, knife, levels, cable pullers, conduit benders.
• Flashlights; electrical tape; drop cloths; tool belt, additional tools/materials, etc.
• Electric circuit testing equipment; ammeters, voltmeters, ohmmeters, watt meters; soldering and welding equipment (All meters needed to complete task at hand)
• Portable electrical generators, portable heaters; ladders, scaffolding; cherry pickers, buckets, small cranes; platform hoists.
• Personal protective equipment (goggles, gloves, hard hats, safety vests, etc.)

This role supports that mission through the continued development and ongoing support of Quickbase, integration of new and existing application platforms, and evaluation and implementation of emerging AI solutions.
