Our Kennesaw campus is located at 1000 Chastain Road NW, Kennesaw, GA 30144. Our Marietta campus is located at 1100 South Marietta Parkway, Marietta, GA 30060.

Performs car, truck, and automotive vehicle maintenance on campus vehicles. Responsible for scheduling and performing general overhaul and minor mechanical and electrical repairs. Performs general, preventative and supportive maintenance tasks including detection and correction of mechanical failures. Follows established shop safety policies and procedures and other regulatory guidelines.

• Performs light repair work (i.e., oil changes, tire rotations, brake services, and inspections)
• Assists other technicians and/or other staff members on emergency and corrective maintenance
• Coordinates and assists in the repair and service of vehicles and diesel-powered automotive equipment and small engines
• Establishes priorities, schedules and assigns work
• Maintains clean and safe work environment adhering to ASHRAE (American Society of Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineers) standards
• Inspects, adjusts or replaces defective parts
• Diagnoses, disassembles, rebuilds or repairs two (2) and four (4) cycle engine equipment
• Performs preventative maintenance on backup generators

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Current, valid and unrestricted driver's license

• Three (3) years related experience

• Operate heavy machinery and electrical equipment
• Operate and work in extreme temperatures and heights including aerial lifts and ladders

• An undergraduate or advanced degree from an accredited institution of higher education in a related field

The budgeted salary range is $22.62 to $25.00 per hour.
