TURNBRIDGE is seeking a Web Developer (React / Node.js) to support modern, customer‑facing digital experiences within a large‑scale enterprise environment.

You will collaborate directly with architecture, platform engineering, and digital product teams to enhance and maintain React‑ and Node.js‑based applications deployed on AWS and integrated with enterprise CMS/eCommerce platforms.

This position is ideal for developers who thrive in lean, high‑impact settings and deliver high‑quality production‑ready code with minimal oversight.

• Build and enhance responsive, modern web applications using React and Node.js.
• Develop reusable UI components and ensure accessibility and responsiveness.
• Design, integrate, and maintain backend APIs and microservices.
• Troubleshoot and optimize production web applications for performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders, including architects and product owners.
• Participate in Git‑based workflows, code reviews, and modern CI/CD practices.

• 4‑5+ years professional experience in software development.
• Experience contributing to production‑scale, customer‑facing web applications.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in small, agile teams.

• Strong proficiency with React (functional components, hooks, state management).
• Expert‑level knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and modern CSS.
• Experience with responsive, mobile‑first, and accessible UI development.
• Familiarity with frontend architecture patterns (performance optimizations, code splitting, component libraries).

• Experience building Node.js APIs, microservices, or backend integrations.
• Comfortable consuming and integrating RESTful APIs.
• Understanding of authentication/authorization patterns and secure API communication.

• Experience with Jest for unit/integration testing.
• Familiarity with Enzyme or modern alternatives.

• CI/CD familiarity with tools like Git Hub Actions, Jenkins, or Bitbucket Pipelines.
• Strong Git workflow experience.

• Optimizely/Episerver experience strongly preferred.
• Enterprise eCommerce platform experience (including OCC or similar).
• Understanding of headless CMS architectures.

• Clear communicator; able to engage technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Self‑driven, accountable, and comfortable delivering with autonomy.
• Pragmatic problem‑solver with balanced judgment around speed/quality.
