Job Description:
Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain complex programs.
• Work with Business Analyst to understand business problems and rewrite them into fast and efficient solutions that ultimately help our customers.
• Understand business logic from legacy code and adjust / modernize it to suit current customer needs.
• Write highly efficient, scalable and maintainable programs to meet a variety of customer data processing needs.

• 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Design, code and test major features, and work with other team members to deliver complex functionality under tight deadlines.
• Document specifications, design areas, test results, and solutions implemented.
• Code corrections for identified defects for new and existing releases of the software.
• Ensure compliance with predefined coding best practices.
• Ensure adherence to project processes.
• Update the manager on progress, flag risks and issues early in the process.
• Coordinate with lead programmers and business analysts with a focus on effective delivery communication.
• The individual may be required to work on multiple areas simultaneously (development, platform releases, installations, conversions, support, training, etc.).

• Service Now ITIL process and Service Now platform knowledge.
• XML and JSON object knowledge is helpful.
• Global and scoped application understanding.
• Understanding of various configuration items in the Snow platform (Client Script, Business Rules, Flow Designer, UI Policies, UI Actions, Script Includes, Notifications, ACLs, Form Views, View Rules, Form Layouts, Snow Table structure, Events, Related Lists, etc.).
• Basic Service Now administration knowledge.
• ATF (Automated Test Framework) knowledge.
• Knowledge of Update Sets.
• Exposure to AngularJS and React frameworks.
• Experience in building portals and custom widgets using Service Portal.
• Exposure to Integration Hub.
• Configuration knowledge of OAuth 2.0 authentication protocol.
• Familiarity with credentials, connections, and aliases.
• Understanding of Apigee API Gateway to maintain RPS integrations with AWS service layer (not Service Now component but helpful).
• Informatica ETL projects for ERM platform for Service Now (preferred – good to have).

• Degree or equivalent.
• Ability to analyze complex situations and learn new processes and technologies quickly.
• Previous experience in the Financial Services Industry, specifically related to defined contribution and defined benefits administration.
• Excellent communicator – ability to discuss technical and commercial solutions with internal and external parties and adapt to the audience.
• Attention to detail – track record of authoring high quality documentation.
• Organized approach – manage and adapt priorities according to client and internal requirements.
• Self-starter with a team mindset - work autonomously and as part of a global team.
