• This job is responsible for developing and delivering complex requirements to accomplish business goals.
• Ensuring that software is developed to meet functional, non-functional and compliance requirements, and solutions are well designed with maintainability, ease of integration and testing built-in from the outset. Job expectations include a strong knowledge of development and testing practices common to the industry and design and architectural patterns.
• Code solutions and unit test to deliver a requirement/story per the defined acceptance criteria and compliance requirements.
• Design, develop, and modify architecture components, application interfaces, and solution enablers while ensuring principal architecture integrity is maintained.
• Mentor other software engineers and coach the team on Continuous Integration and Continuous Development (CI‑CD) practices and automating the tool stack.
• Execute story refinement, definition of requirements, and estimate work necessary to realize a story through the delivery lifecycle.
• Perform spike/proof of concept as necessary to mitigate risk or implement new ideas.
• Automate manual release activities.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites (integration, regression, performance).

• Deliver complex features and technology, enabling development efficiencies.
• Provide technical thought leadership based on conducting multiple software implementations and applying both depth and breadth in a number of technical competencies.
• Accountable for end‑to‑end solution design and delivery.
• 5+ years of solid experience as a Software Engineer and experience in multiple frontend and backend languages (Python, Ansible, Java, and Bash scripting).
• Deep understanding of data structures, and object‑oriented programming principles.
• Experience with relational databases such as Oracle and MySQL.
• Application development methodologies and infrastructure as well as analytical, planning, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in executing Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) and delivering automated software testing.
• Working knowledge of JIRA, Remedy, and Service Now.
