Primary location for job responsibilities:
Our Kennesaw campus is located at 1000 Chastain Road NW, Kennesaw, GA 30144.

Our Marietta campus is located at 1100 South Marietta Parkway, Marietta, GA 30060.

Develops, monitors, and instructs student-athletes in a variety of conditioning programs for designated sports. Assists leaders and/or coaches in the day-to-day operations of the Sport Performance facility. Provides assigned student-athletes with well-rounded programs that are up to date with current standards and research. Adheres to all rules and regulations that govern the program. Assists with assigned administrative duties.

• Designs, implements, oversees, and maintains scientifically based strength and conditioning programs for assigned teams and/or cohort of student-athletes
• Performs appropriate testing to determine the needs of each assigned student-athlete to assist with program development and individual goals
• Employs sound coaching techniques and practices
• Provides supervision of the weight room facility, maintains equipment, and maintains a safe and functioning training facility
• Responsible for the scheduling and maintenance of the weight room and facilities
• Reports and documents injuries incurred while training to the appropriate staff and leadership

Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution of higher education or an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience.

• Current, valid, and unrestricted driver's license
• Certification for Strength and Conditioning personnel (CSCS and/or SCCC)
• Current, and valid CPR/ AED certification

Two (2) years of relevant experience in strength conditioning, performance training, and/or coaching in a post-secondary level program, professional athlete, professional tour participant or professional coach in a related sport program.

An advanced degree from an accredited institution of higher education in exercise science, kinesiology, athletic training or related field.

• Establishes and maintains effective professional working relationships with student-athletes, faculty, staff, administrators, alumni and the public
• Able to handle multiple tasks or projects at one time meeting assigned deadlines

• Possesses a thorough knowledge of and commitment to compliance with all NCAA, and conference, State of Georgia and university policies, rules and regulations

• Excellent interpersonal, initiative, teamwork, problem solving, independent judgment, organization, communication (verbal and written), time management, project management and presentation skills
• Proficient with computer applications and programs associated with the position (i.e., Microsoft Office suite and related athletics software programs)
• Strong attention to detail and follow up skills
• Strong customer service skills and phone and e-mail etiquette
