Position: Warehouse / Fork Lift Operator (1st Shift)

Warehouse Forklift Operator – Shift A (Kennesaw, GA)

Full time forklift operator responsible for warehouse duties in a cold environment.

Position Summary

The forklift operator operates material handling equipment, works in temperatures ranging from
-10 to 100°F, receives and stores finished product, pulls, stages, and loads products for shipment, conducts cycle counts, and communicates with internal departments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ship / Receive / Supply material according to established procedures.
  • Inspect all incoming/outgoing pallets for integrity and cleanliness.
  • Tag each pallet according to procedures.
  • Load / Unload truck or trailer according to procedures.
  • Pull and stage materials as requested for transfer between facilities.
  • Check trailer temperature before loading / unloading.
  • Check material temperature before loading / unloading.
  • When receiving, check pallet condition, product condition, item number, description, lot number, quantity, and location.
  • Operate material handling equipment (Sit Down, Stand-Up Forklifts and Pallet Jacks).
  • Pull materials as instructed and scan accordingly.
  • Pull and scan materials according to pick ticket / request to proper staging location.
  • Scan and stack materials according to procedures.
  • Report any damages, discrepancies to the Supervisor immediately.
  • Enter transactions into computer system.
  • Perform all required scanner transactions.
  • Follow proper material storage and handling procedures.
  • Ensure all receipts, transfers, transactions, documentation, and counts are accurate.
  • Review all incoming/outgoing and internal documentation as required.
  • Process return materials per procedure.
  • Follow all safety procedures and guidelines.
  • Conduct cycle counts as assigned by Supervisor.
  • Keep work area clean and orderly.
  • Ensure all GMPs, departmental procedures, and company policies are followed within the warehouse.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Experience Preferred
  • Forklift operator certification (in-house).
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Bilingual Spanish.
  • Experience using a computer to enter and retrieve information.
Shift & Schedule

Shift A – 12 hours. Monday through Friday, some Saturdays.
