Obstetrics and Gynecology Physician

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide obstetric and gynecologic care in a clinic setting with scheduled hours from Monday to Thursday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, and Friday from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm.
- Participate in a call schedule (1:3) from 7:00 am to 7:00 am, supporting hospital labor and delivery, postpartum, and patient consultations.
- Conduct rounds for approximately 30 minutes to one hour daily for patients in labor, delivery, or postpartum.
- Document patient contact hours and ensure accurate timesheet entries, including call-back notes and specific reasons for call-back activities.
- Ensure compliance with documentation requirements, including support notes to verify patient contact and call-back hours, especially during audits.
- Engage in telephonic consultations and medical record reviews outside of on-site hours, with no requirement to be physically present during call-back support.
- Maintain a clean history and malpractice insurance coverage, as well as active Washington State licensure or IMLC certification.
- Valid Washington State medical license or IMLC certification.
- Experience in obstetrics and gynecology with excellent clinical judgment.
- Strong documentation and communication skills.
- Ability to manage labor and delivery coverage effectively while adhering to documentation protocols.
- Knowledge of electronic health records and compliance standards.
Skills:
- Experience with hospital-based obstetric care.
- Additional certifications in maternal-fetal medicine or ultrasound.
- Bilingual abilities to serve diverse patient populations.
- Knowledge of telemedicine practices.
Education and Experience:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
- Minimum of 3 years of obstetrics and gynecology practice, preferably in hospital settings.
- Ability to work a scheduled start date of February 2, 2026, with orientation included on the first day.
- Willingness to work during defined clinic hours and hospital call shifts.
- Documentation proficiency for accurate billing and compliance.
- Participation in ongoing professional development and adherence to hospital policies.
Hourly Pay Rate: $1.00
