Position:
Head Boys Track at Horse Heaven Hills MS. Open: 5/28/2026. Close: 6/4/2026 (or until filled).
- Carry out the objectives of the sports program as outlined by the athletic director.
- Assist the head coach in administrative, program coordination, and developmental duties.
- Instruct participants in individual, group, and team techniques, tactics, and physical training necessary for success.
- Implement teaching and coaching philosophies consistent with the Kennewick School District and WIAA mission statements.
- Current First Aid/CPR cards and knowledge of related preventative health and training standards.
- Meeting and maintaining coaching standards of the Kennewick School District and the WIAA.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Demonstrated short and long-term organization and management skills.
- Three current recommendations.
- Evidence of being a positive role model.
- Clearly defined coaching philosophy for the applied level.
- Coaching experience in this sport.
- Evidence of effective public relations.
- Ability to work cooperatively and communicate with students, parents, assistants, administrators, and community members.
- Evidence of WIAA certification and compliance with WIAA/district rules.
The physical demands include standing and walking for prolonged periods, lifting up to 26 lbs., handling various movements, and working outdoors in temperatures ranging from
