Team Read Site Coordinator

The Children’s Reading Foundation of the Mid-Columbia (CRFMC) serves children and families in Benton and Franklin Counties. Our mission is to promote early literacy and support schools to ensure students read at grade level by the end of third grade. Founded in Kennewick, Washington in 1996, we offer various programs such as READY! for Kindergarten, Team Read Tutoring, and our READ UP Summer Reading program.

Through partnerships, CRFMC strives to equip parents with the tools to change their children's lives by fostering a love for reading.

This is a part-time ($21/hr) school site role for a Team Read Site Coordinator based in Kennewick, WA. The Site Coordinator will be responsible for managing a Team Read school site, coordinating volunteers, scheduling tutoring sessions, tracking student progress, and engaging with teachers, students and schools. Additional duties include organizing training sessions, maintaining records, and ensuring the program runs smoothly.

• Experience in coordinating and managing educational programs
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to engage with volunteers, students, and schools effectively
• Proficiency in Google Suites and maintaining records
• Familiarity with K-3rd grade childhood education
• Bachelor's degree in Education, Social Work, or a related field is a plus
