The Staff Engineer I (EIT) will apply civil engineering principles for entire District water resource project cycles, to include design, development, project coordination, inspection, and project completion.
Responsibilities- Preparing analysis of projects for preliminary design, calculations, life cycle cost, and equipment selection
- Conducting surveys to gather field data
- Preparing drawings, layouts, and construction plans, and preparing technical construction specifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering;
Engineering in Training (EIT) Certificate; and a range of experience from a new college graduate to five (5) years of successful engineering work experience.
High School Diploma or equivalent;
Washington State Driver License with acceptable driving record; acceptable criminal background record.
