What You'll DoAs a Service Advisor, you will be responsible for initiating automotive services and repairs. This involves ascertaining vehicle performance problems and service requests, verifying warranty and service contract coverage, developing estimates, and writing repair orders. Additionally, you will maintain customer records.
Serve as the communicator and liaison between the customer and technician; ensure the technician understands the customer's needs and the customer understands the needed and recommended service/repairs.
Develop estimates by costing materials, supplies, and labor; calculating customer's payment, including deductibles.
Prepare repair orders (RO), obtaining approval signatures and entering RO into service database system.
Communicate additional repair and service needs to the customer based on vehicle inspection.
Administer the manufacturer warranty for qualifying vehicle repairs.
Keeping customer informed of service specials, completion times and service expenses.
What You'll Bring2+ years of service writing in dealership atmosphere
Prior experience as an automotive technician is a plus.
A team player who is focused on providing exemplary customer service.
Basic mechanical understanding of an automobile.
We require a team player that wants to join a growing team.
Confidence navigating dealership technology. CDK experience is ideal!
Acceptable driving record and a valid driver's license in your state of residence.
Total Rewards The annual earning potential for this role is 70k-100k which includes commission on individual sales and individual gross profits. Bonuses are based on individual manufacturer approvability; customer pay labor per RO and flat rate hours.
Actual pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge, and physical location. Final compensation will be established through the interview process in accordance with applicable pay equity and transparency laws.
