Agri Northwest is seeking an analytical and service-oriented Senior Accountant to join our local finance team. The Senior Accountant performs financial analysis, enforces internal controls, and supports management efforts by providing timely and relevant information for decisions. This job is a key contributor in helping maintain good internal controls and audit documentation to protect the company and its assets.

Responsibilities
  • Identify, analyze, and present financial data and variances.
  • Responsible for complex accounting entries.
  • Assist in reinforcing business rules and ensuring compliance.
  • Assist in assessing and monitoring internal controls.
  • Provide trend analysis as needed.
  • Mentor lower levels in established accounting processes and rules.
  • Collaborate with finance team on timely and accurate financial information.
  • Represents the Finance team in cross-department collaborations.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related degree required.
  • Master's degree in related field and/or CPA, CMA or potential candidate preferred.
  • 5+ yrs experience in accounting; audit or payroll experience helpful.
  • High competency with accounting software, spreadsheets, databases, data extraction, and Microsoft Office. Previous (Lawson) Infor and M3 use helpful.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and cost accounting principles.
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Ability to influence without authority.
  • Leadership skills with previous supervisory experience.
  • Spanish and/or Portuguese language skills a plus.
