As a business analysis manager on the North America Product Finance Team, you will contribute to Starbucks’ success by directly supporting sales forecasting and product optimization insights. This role leads complex business case analysis on revenue & margin performance and has expectations to shape and influence decision making. This role also supports the development of strategic plans, annual budgets, and quarterly forecasts.

You will partner closely with budget owners, the Brand team, Supply Chain, Retail Operations, Marketing, and other cross-functional teams to identify key drivers, trends, risks & opportunities, to deliver actionable insights that influence strategic decisions. This position requires strong leadership in managing complex processes, fostering collaboration, and ensuring financial rigor across the organization.

• Drive business insights:
  Develop and refine financial models, forecasts, and analyses that influence strategic and operational decisions.
• Provide insights and recommendations:
  Communicate complex financial information and concepts to both financial and business leaders to support and influence decision making.
• Partner cross-functionally:
  Work closely with leaders and teams across Finance and Operations to drive accountability, validate assumptions, and identify risks and opportunities.
• Own planning and forecasting:
  Play a key role in planning processes, ensuring alignment across teams and delivering clear and accurate forecasts.
• Identify improvement opportunities:
  Continuously improve planning and reporting processes through automation, standardization, and best practices.
• Work on a fun, high-performing team while driving improvements in the business.

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or professional certification (CPA/CFA) preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or business analysis.
• Advanced skills in Excel, familiarity with financial systems (e.g., Anaplan, Oracle), and an interest in learning to utilize new tools to optimize processes (Co-Pilot).
• Ability to interpret and analyze financial statements and operational metrics.
• Proven critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Excellent business partnering and communication skills; ability to influence stakeholders and present complex financial insights clearly.
• Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines while partnering across teams.

• Progressive experience in complex financial analysis, modeling, budgeting and business planning - 7 years
• Support and influence decision making, through month-end, forecast, annual budget, and strategic planning processes – 7 years
• Making recommendations to and influence decision makers – 5 years
• Contributing to and leading cross-functional teams - 5 years
• Project management experience
