Base pay range$68,815.00/yr - $/yr
We are offering a relocation package up to $20,000 and a Hiring Bonus for eligible external candidates who meet all conditions for payment. This is in addition to the benefits and compensation package that begin on your first day of employment!
As an Ultrasound Technologist (Freestanding Emergency Department), you will operate and provide high-quality sonography and X-ray (if Radiology Technologist certified) services to patients for diagnosis and treatment. You will also be trained on various patient care activities such as vital signs, EKGs, wound care, orthopedic splinting, and other duties as assigned. Diagnostic Imaging Supervisors will oversee clinical skills, QAs, and competencies, acting on behalf of the FSED Nurse Manager.
Available Shift: Full-Time, 36 hours per week, Variable Shift
Required Qualifications:- Completion of an approved Ultrasound Technology Training Program
- Associate's Degree or higher in Diagnostic Medical Sonography from an accredited institution, or equivalent education/experience
- National Certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography upon hire
- National Registered Technologist - Sonography upon hire
- National Provider BLS certification from American Heart Association upon hire
- Washington Radiologic Technologist certification upon hire
- Registered Technologist - Radiography from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists upon hire
- At least 1 year of medical sonography experience as a registered or registry-eligible sonographer
Certifications:
- Completion of an approved Ultrasound Technology Training Program
- Associate's Degree or higher in Diagnostic Medical Sonography
- National Certification from ARDMS upon hire
- National Registered Technologist - Sonography upon hire
- National Provider BLS certification from American Heart Association upon hire
