Position: Caregiver (Weekend ON CALL)

Job Summary

Senior Helpers, a leading provider of in-home senior care, is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team in Kennewick, WA. This position is available on weekends with the flexibility of being on call. As a Caregiver, you will provide personalized care to seniors in their homes, helping them with daily activities and ensuring their safety and well-being. This is a part‑time, hourly role in the healthcare/medical field.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with seniors and making a meaningful impact in their lives.

Responsibilities
  • Provide one‑on‑one care to seniors in their homes, following their personalized care plans
  • Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
  • Administer medications following clients' healthcare plans
  • Help seniors with mobility and transfers
  • Provide companionship and engage seniors in meaningful activities
  • Monitor clients' health and report any changes to the designated supervisor
  • Maintain a safe and clean living environment for clients
  • Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and the Senior Helpers team
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent, and 18 years or older
  • Previous experience as a caregiver, preferably in a home care or facilities
  • Reliable transportation to get to shifts on time Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug test
  • Good communication, time management, and organizational skills
  • Compassionate, patient, and reliable
  • Willingness to work weekends and be on call
