American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab Technologist with 2+ years of experience and RT or CVIS certification (or RCIS eligibility for a WA CVIS license) for an interventional cardiology/radiology role at a Level III trauma facility.
Details- Cardiac Cath Lab located on the 1st floor of a Level III trauma facility
- Interventional Cardiology/Radiology specialty with a 2-bed unit
- Adult and geriatric patient population
- 3-person team structure
- Equipment includes Philips and McKesson-Change Healthcare Hemo/Maquet systems
- Uses Paragon EHR for hospital charting and McKesson-Change Healthcare for hemodynamic monitoring
- 4x10 hour day shifts with standby requirements
- Weekend hours are variable and on-call based, with every other weekend coverage
- Call requirement of 7 shifts per 2-week pay period
- No floating required
- Minimum 2 years of experience preferred
- RT or CVIS certification required, or RCIS eligible for CVIS licensure in Washington state (license required if applicable)
- BLS and ACLS certifications required (AHA certifications only)
- Associate's degree minimum required
- Scrub role experience required
- Monitor role experience preferred
- Experience with CV/PV diagnostic and interventional procedures
- Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
- Perform cardiovascular and peripheral vascular diagnostic and interventional procedures
- Scrub role is the primary responsibility with monitor role as a secondary skill
- Green scrubs provided by facility
- Outgoing, adaptable, and team-oriented personality preferred
- Candidates must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for travel assignment
- Candidates cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
- Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full-time
