Primary Care Registered Dietitian

Join our team as a Registered Dietitian at a community health center in Kennewick, WA!

• Work closely with medical and mental health providers to support primary care patients of all ages through counseling on conditions like diabetes, cardiovascular disease, weight management, and food allergies.
• Provide preventative education, including Well Child Checks, prenatal counseling, and family health guidance, using motivational interviewing to tailor nutrition interventions in a supportive environment.
• Identify patient needs proactively, offer same-day no-cost access, and collaborate with the care team to ensure coordinated, high-quality nutrition support.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop individualized plans considering cultural and social factors, and stay engaged with community resources.
• Precept interns, develop training, and support clinical staff development while maintaining compliance with organizational and quality standards.
• Qualifications include a Master’s in Dietetics (or Bachelor’s for pre-Jan 2024 credentialed dietitians), completion of an ACEND-accredited program, and RD registration. Bilingual skills are a plus.
