What you will do:

The Whey Packaging Tech Operator will be responsible for ensuring that the steps for producing a product that meets TCCA's high standard of quality are taken and notifying the shift supervisor when issues arise that would jeopardize that quality. The Whey Packaging Tech is responsible for the understanding and operation of the whey bagging equipment.

Here's a day in the life:
  • Operate, monitor, and maintain powder storage bins, powder transfer lines and hoppers, bulk bagging equipment, metal detection equipment, ink jets, palletizer and stretch wrapping equipment.
  • Collect samples of prod uct for performance analysis.
  • Must comply with GMP, HACCP, Safety rules and other company operating requirements.
  • Clean and sanitize systems while following Master Sanitation Schedule.
  • Perform routine maintenance on the bagging system.
  • Troubleshoot and solve any processing problems during operation.
  • Ensure all records are accurate and up to date.
  • Maintain the bagging areas in a safe, sanitary, and efficient working order.
