Resident Experience & Events Coordinator

Title: Resident Experience & Events Coordinator

Location: Kennewick, WA
Schedule: Full-Time | Flexible schedule, including some evenings and weekends
Pay: $23-25/hr

Help Create a Community People Want to Be Part Of

The Resort at Hansen Park is looking for an outgoing, creative, and organized Marketing, Communications & Event Coordinator to help bring the resident experience at Club 10 to life. This is not a traditional event-planning position. You won’t be producing large-scale corporate galas. Instead, you’ll create the everyday experiences that make a community feel connected, from trivia nights and holiday events to resident communications, social media content, and activities that get people out of their apartments and interacting with one another.

We’re looking for someone who enjoys meeting people, can turn an idea into an organized event, and isn’t afraid to be the person creating the energy in the room.

What You'll Do

Coordinate resident events and activities such as trivia, bingo, mixers, holiday celebrations, fitness or lifestyle programming, and other community events

Manage event details including vendors, entertainers, food and beverages, decorations, supplies, signage, setup, and schedules

Be present and actively engaged at events, welcoming residents and encouraging participation

Build relationships with residents and help create a welcoming, connected community

Create flyers, posters, event calendars, digital displays, and other promotional materials using Canva or similar tools

Create and schedule engaging social media content for the Resort and Club 10

Capture photos and short-form video during events and activities

Develop resident newsletters, announcements, reminders, and event communications

Maintain event and content calendars to ensure residents always know what's happening

Track attendance and resident feedback to help improve future programming

Find local vendors, businesses, instructors, and community partners who can enhance Resort activities

Bring forward new ideas and independently take ownership of assigned events and activities

Partner with Club 10, property teams, vendors, and TMG's Marketing team

What We’re Looking For

The right personality matters just as much as the right resume.

You should be someone who naturally talks to people, remembers residents, builds rapport, and enjoys being a visible part of the community.

You'll also need:

1–3 years of experience in events, marketing, communications, hospitality, social media, recreation, property management, or another customer-facing environment

Strong interpersonal skills and an outgoing, approachable personality

Experience coordinating events, activities, or community programming

Strong written communication, spelling, and grammar

Excellent attention to detail, especially when publishing dates, times, and resident communications

Basic graphic design skills using Canva or a similar platform

Familiarity with social media platforms such as Instagram and Facebook

Comfort taking quality photos and short videos with a smartphone

Strong organization and the ability to manage multiple events, deadlines, and projects

Creativity and the initiative to take an idea and make it happen

Ability to work independently while still being a strong team player

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and occasional holidays based on the event calendar

Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record

What Success Looks Like

You’ll know you’re succeeding when residents recognize you, engage with you, show up to events, and feel more connected to the community because of the experiences you help create. Your work will help increase resident participation, strengthen our social media presence, improve communication, and ultimately support resident satisfaction and retention.

If you're creative, organized, comfortable being the face of an experience, and love bringing people together, we’d love to hear from you.
