Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a travel RN for an Emergency Department position in Kennewick, WA, requiring 2+ years of experience and active WA or Compact RN license.
Responsibilities- Emergency Department setting in a 111-bed teaching hospital serving the Tri-Cities area of southeastern Washington
- 25-bed Emergency Department unit serving a mixed patient population (pediatric, adult, and geriatric)
- Patient ratio of 4:1
- Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- Two weekends per month required
- No on-call requirements
- EMR:
Paragon - 13-week contract
- Hospital is a teaching facility affiliated with a larger health system and serves the Kennewick, Pasco, and Richland communities
- Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the past 12 months are not eligible
- Any scrub color is acceptable
- Kennewick is located 3 hours from Seattle and Portland and 2 hours from Spokane, with direct flights available from Tri-Cities Airport to 10 major U.S. hubs
- Active WA or Compact RN license required
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC — RQI-issued certifications are not accepted
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department RN experience required
- SSN and date of birth required for consideration
- Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rates
- No full-time employment elsewhere during the assignment
