She Recruits is partnering with a respected occupational health services provider to identify a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join their on-site clinical team. This is a clinic-based role focused on workplace health, wellness, and prevention - ideal for a nurse who values a predictable weekday schedule, no nights or weekends, and low-acuity patient care in a highly professional environment.
About the Role
As a key member of a multidisciplinary occupational health team, the RN will support clinical operations in an outpatient setting serving working adults and employees in safety-sensitive roles. You'll collaborate with advanced practice providers, physicians, and nursing leadership to deliver care that is proactive, patient-centered, and protocol-driven.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver clinical care in accordance with nursing standards and established protocols
- Conduct health assessments, triage employee concerns, and administer medications and treatments as directed
- Perform drug screenings, breath alcohol testing, and other compliance-related exams
- Provide emergency response and first aid, including BLS/ACLS interventions when needed
- Participate in case management support and referrals
- Document care using a standardized SOAP format in the electronic health record (EHR)
- Assist with infection control and exposure mitigation protocols
- Educate patients on lifestyle, injury prevention, and travel health requirements
- Serve as a resource on wellness and occupational safety standards
- Collaborate with a well-established team of therapists, medical assistants, and administrative staff
- Active RN license in the state of Washington
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience (occupational health preferred but not required)
- Current BLS certification (ACLS preferred)
- Experience with Microsoft Office and EHR systems
- Strong communication, organization, and patient engagement skills
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative environment
- Comfortable providing care in a fast-paced, protocol-based clinical setting
- Certified Occupational Health Nurse (COHN or COHN-S)
- Experience with OSHA compliance, travel medicine, or corporate health programs
- Clinic-based setting with occasional travel to industrial worksites or off-site screenings
- Must be able to lift and move up to 35 lbs and assist with occasional physical tasks
- Frequent standing, walking, and use of computers and office equipment
- May be exposed to varying environmental conditions and workplace hazards
- Requires attention to detail, adaptability, and sound judgment in dynamic clinical scenarios
- No nights, weekends, or shift work
- Supportive, structured team with low patient volume
- Opportunities for professional development and expanded roles in workplace health
- Contribute to meaningful care that supports employee well-being, safety, and health education
