Department / Unit SummaryThe Critical Care Supervisor works as an advocate for the physical and emotional wellbeing of both the patient and nursing staff on the Intensive Care Unit. The supervisor provides orientation, direction, training, educational development, coaching and mentoring to staff in accordance with goals set by the Department Director. The supervisor assists with competency verification, performance evaluations and disciplinary actions, assesses and ensures quality of services delivered, and implements quality initiatives and measures.
The supervisor serves as a resource to staff, other departments and external contacts, leading the handling and resolution of issues and complaints and assisting with the development of policies ensuring staff compliance with policies/procedures/protocols/regulations.
- 14 Beds ICU
- 16 Beds PCU
- Units combined when appropriate
You will shape exceptional patient journeys daily using your specialized plan-of-care intervention and lead your team. Leverage your skills and our technology to directly impact patient wellbeing.

- Current WA state RN license (or AAPC 762-45 Compact License)
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited nursing school
- BLS, ACLS required
- Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and ability to work with minimal supervision
- Previous experience required
- Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action
