Travel Nurse RN - Labor and Delivery

Job Overview

TNAA Total Med RN is seeking a Labor and Delivery RN for a travel nursing job in Kennewick, Washington.

Start date:

06/14/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. 12‑hour night shifts, 36 hours per week.

Employment type:

Travel.

• Provide care and support for women before, during, and after delivery.
• Manage medical and emotional needs throughout the birthing process.
• Assist physicians when epidurals or pain medications are administered and when episiotomies are performed.
• Assist in preparation for cesarean deliveries.
• Stay with and monitor patient throughout labor.
• Monitor contractions and help patients with breathing techniques.
• Check cervix periodically to monitor progression and dilation.
• Ensure beds are kept clean and dry; clean up bodily fluids before and after birthing.
• Aid physician with drapes, gloves, gowns, delivery instruments, etc.
• Provide immediate care to newborn.

Requirements*:

• ACLS, BLS, FHM, NRP certifications and 2 years of recent acute care experience.
• Additional certifications may be required before assignment.

Must be able to stand and walk for long periods and bend, lean, and stoop without difficulty. Must be able to lift 20 pounds easily, and occasionally up to 50 pounds.

Must possess good stress‑coping skills and ability to relate to people of all ages and backgrounds.
