Registered Nurse – Emergency Position SummaryThe registered nurse (RN) plans, coordinates, and implements patient care specific to the age of the patient population served in the Emergency Room. The RN ensures that quality care is provided in an efficient and safe manner, consistent with departmental standards of care. The RN demonstrates performance consistent with the mission, philosophy, and goals of the assigned unit and the organization.
They remain flexible to changing systems, are expected to demonstrate quality and effectiveness in work habits and clinical practices, and treat staff, physicians, patients, and families with consideration and respect.
- Level III Trauma Center
- Level I Cardiac Center
- Level II Stroke Center
- 4:1 Nurse-to-patient ratio
- 25 Beds, 2 Bays
- $2.25 - $4.50 shift differential
- Professional development and growth opportunities
- Current state RN license
- Bachelor's or associate degree from an accredited nursing school
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC required
- One year of experience preferred
